Thinking of making the trip for this.

Reading NOTAMs isn't my strong point, when it says within 6nm of co-ords, does this mean within 6 nm of valley? Which then leads me to think, will I see anything?

Thanks in advance.

It means there is restricted airspace 6nm around Valley during the display. This is to keep other aircraft away from the display. A Hawk does'nt take long to travel 6 miles!

They usually spend the full day there as its a reasonable hop from Scampton

They normally turn up the day before for Final Simulator training - and then depart in pairs after the show - easiest way is to watch for there flight space NOTAMS as the date approaches.

Well the wife and I have booked a Travelodge for this one. Only way I could get the wife to come with me!

My only problem is.... The only lense I have is a 18 - 55 ..... Birthday in april and its when I get my 300mm one hopefully. So will just have to watch and take some very wide shots lol!!

Unless anyone going has a spare canon fit bigger than 55mm they want to lend me for just half an hour??? :-)

LOL, it's 8 days away, the met office can't predict tomorrows weather correctly, let alone that far ahead!
