Afternoon,

Just wondering if anyone has a latest update about how many RAFAT jets are at Valley at the moment.

The team are really struggling with serviceability at Waddo, only managing to put up two 9 ships early Feb so far.

XX219 was seen flying yesterday without a smoke pod - did it end up at Valley?

XX219 is now in AMRO, first to arrive for maintenance wearing the 60th Anniversary markings.

Following Reds are present :-

XX202 - Maintenance & Smoke Conversion paused

XX221- Now painted in Reds c/s. Maintenance & Black to Red Conversion paused.

XX239 - On Maintenance. Smoke Conversion complete

XX278 - On Maintenance.

XX319 - On Maintenance.

XX322 - On Maintenance.

XX323 - On Maintenance

XX325 - On Maintenance

Notes
XX321 was delivered to the Reds in February.

XX281- Arrived from Shawbury 12 Dec. Delivered by JARTS and assembled in AMRO. Now in the Valley Paint Shop. For Black to Red Conversion in due course.

No problem. There will be a few changes coming up as aircraft are delivered back to the Reds in time for Spring Hawk 2024.

One of those changes possibly occurred today, with Red 11 arriving in the morning and departing in the afternoon under the same call sign. Two Red Arrows Hawks were seen on the line at lunchtime.

No Mode-S broadcast on arrival but the departure is using 43C41F (XX239?) 'REDAPROW'

A single hawk without a pod has just returned to Waddo - didn't catch the callsign.

Red 11 flew what appeared to be a test flight in XX239 using 43C41F this afternoon. Red 11 then departed in XX188 with Vulcan 82 following in XX322 around 16:55, I believe both destined for Waddo.

XX322 flew it's post maintenance test flight yesterday morning followed by XX239 in the afternoon.
XX322 was turned around and flown to Waddington later. XX239 will follow shortly. A great effort from the guys in AMRO.

XX239 departed from Valley back to the Reds at10.05 this morning.

Thanks - heard Red 6 leave Waddo 8am this morning and he's just back with Approach now.

Was this a jet swap or was there a pick up as well?

EDIT - can hear Vulcan 82 as well, so it was a pick up.

Red6 was XX188 crew ferry for XX239 back to Wadd as Vulcan82.

Another new Red just arrived at Waddington, no callsign as no scanner, showing as test0001.

Any tie up?

Believe it did a test flight out of valley as well today.

Correct, XX278 was test flown earlier today and delivered to Waddington this afternoon. XX325 should be the next one back to the Reds in time for Spring Hawk.

XX295 is inbound Valley, presumably to pick up the next jet (unless it's a sim day!)

Must be for the SIM, no deliveries due today.

XX159 has arrived in AMRO this afternoon from Shawbury by road for possible Black to Red conversion.

XX177 arrived today for maintenance. XX325 was delivered to back to Waddington on Friday 5th April
