Hi,
Did anyone else see the sand coloured hawk doing approaches at valley yesterday 29/6 around 3:30pm? I have checked my vrs log and found a Qatar hex code 06A282 at around that time for 25 minutes. It looked a lot cooler than the normal hawks here at valley.

One of the new Qatari Hawks ZB133, see Warton log for the 29th :- viewtopic.php?f=70&t=205650&p=1313267#p1313267
This season, I'll be mostly wearing........A THONG!

Cheers for that. Didn’t get a proper look as I was driving at the time.
Re: Sand coloured Hawk 29/6
No worries, it's still in primer and hasn't been painted properly yet. If you click on this link and then click on ZB133's serial, then you'll see a photo of it at Valley yesterday :- http://www.ukserials.com/results.php?serial=ZB

Anybody know what colour(s)/scheme the Hawks are planned to be? is the grey inboard of the intake a clue?

Its in primer and was on its 3rd flt. ZB132 also flew that day, also on 3rd flt, flown by Tarnish 7, but stayed clear of Valley.

That would make the most sense TAFFEVANS given the original reasons for the black on training aircraft and that they will be operating in the same airspace as Valleys Hawks and other training aircraft. As for the squadron number I've heard conflicting rumour of an RAF squadron number and a QEAF squadron number...... Time will tell!
