Red Arrows 21/04/2020

Post by karlow » Tue Apr 21, 2020 11:05 am

Hi,

Noticed whilst driving past the base this morning due to living 1 mile from base near base accomodation, 2 Red Arrows parked on VAS Apron.

I managed to take photos and can see the serial of one being XX278, can't quite see the other one.

I checked my VirtualRadar log and neither showed up as having their transponder on.

Thanks
Karl

Cranwell 10 departed Scampton earlier, didn't hear him return

Red 1, 2, 4, 6 and 8 were up at Scampton earlier, no other jets heard.

Potentially missed one that went to Valley with Cranwell 10?

Mike

He was still here at 12:53 when I went down for a walk, the other one had gone.

Red 7 has just returned to Scampton, with thanks to BOLLO. Possibly the 2nd jet that was at Valley?

The second Red was XX177. It was on a post AMRO maintenance test flight. Delivered back to Scampton this morning.
