Noted flying late am today for first time since delivery (ferry flt) was ZM327 as "Gauntlet(G)51"
[Hexcode 43C8CE]. Operating in VATA-D recovered via SRA (Talkdown) rwy 13 & land 1204L. Also up late am was ZM324 showing as "VYT80" on Mode-S.
Also noted out on Seahawk apron were ZM328 & ZM332.

Isn't Gauntlet a DTEO call-sign - seem to remember the old A&AEE using such - or has my old brain gone totally?

DTEO became part of DERA (along with DRA). DERA was then split becoming DSTL (Govt owned) & QinetiQ (Private). So yes Gauntlet now used by QQ Boscombe Down test pilots
