Valley Visitors 8th July 2014

Post by LiamCarbin » Tue Jul 08, 2014 1:31 pm

Good afternoon.

Great day at Valley today.

5x tucanos
2 flybys by typhoon
And two helicopter visitors. Does anyone have an I.D on these helicopters. Grayish looking. Didn't catch the call sign and I can't identify them? Call sign and type?

Many thanks

Liam

There is a Griffin in at Valley SARTU ZJ705 Hearts I believe if memory serves me right - she was there last week

But if they were two - they might have been Navy lynx or Merlin

Royal Netherlands Air Force AS532 Cougars.

Serials were S-419 and S-453, one was grey, the other was camo, callsign was possibly Cougar Flight.

Hope this helps.

Callsign for the Cougars should have been Duke 1-2

1 Typhoon was ZK316/FA 1 Sqn and ZK303/AX 41 Sqn with James May in the rear seat

Thank you all for the serials for today's visitors. It was the cougars that I couldn't identify. I knew you guys would know.

Anything else due in this week? Maybe some visitors on their way to RIAT?

Thanks once again :thumb:
