I missed the last week in February which was quite busy; not so this week, despite the glorious weather:-

Monday 1st March Lynx AH7 XZ669/I on the deck and towed away next day
Tuesday 2nd 100 squ Hawk "CP"
Thursday 4th ZF115 "R" Sea King HC4 in artic camo (nice one !), XX318/CN 100 squ hawk T.1, also ZK011 Hawk T.2 delivered
Friday 5th really smart ETPS A109 G-ESLH

Glorious weather again this week but i missed most of the action !
The Valley av Soc forum has provided me with a few extras:-

Monday 8th a RN Merin and 2 RAF examples
Tuesday 9th Xx258/CE 100 squ Hawk a couple of Harriers and a DHFS Squirrel
Wednesday 10th 2 31 squ GR4's ZA542 and ZD788 coded 098 and 035 (?)
Thursday 11th ***-all !

quite an entertianing week over at VAS....

Monday 15th Chinooks ZA684 & ZD983 (until 17th, 684 returned 4pm 18th.) XV196 Herc C.1P operating from here 15th, 16th, 18th, including evening flights dropping paras into the sea
Tuesday 16th XX.../CK 100 squ Hawk T.1 9 x Red Arrows arrived but low cloud next day made them cancel plans and they flew home (on the 17th) (XX177/179/233/237/242/264/294/306/308). An FRA Falcon 20 overshot at 5;15-ish

The 100 Sq. Hawk was XX339/CK.

I can get the serial of the Falcon when I get back from work.

Also had Red 10 arrive on the Wednesday - XX253

Hercules XV196 in again Friday 19th, Two chinooks working also.

Saturday - Chinooks departed East about 1330 local

Monday 22nd ZF169 and ZF295 Tucanos here all week (295 may be u/s ?) XX177 Red Arrows Hawk (a new a/c for them, without smokepod)
DHFS Suirrels on detachment for the week were ZJ244/46/49/50/53
Tuesday 23rd ZJ234 "S" Griffon, ZH776 Chinook
Wednesday 24th XX159/205/261 FRADU Hawks, XX339 "CK" 100 squ Hawk (latter also Friday 26th)
Thursday 25th ZA705 Chinook

I propbably missed a few things as well - SteveS's post noted a Typhoon overshoot (25th)

Yep yep definatly the nimrod doing it's end of an era flight! first time I've been to valley, I'm there again tomorrow :) today was quite dead. I was so excited to see the nimrod pop through the clouds and come straight at me on it's way down! but also quite upset when I found out why it was there. I was on the rhosneigr side.
