It's very hit and miss, you can have clear blue days and not a thing, then low cloud a lots of action. One day is completely different to the next, that is why the attraction is so great, you just never know what is coming next.

As the others said its hit and miss, reduction in low level flying over the years, its going to get worse, Harriers were the most common aircraft be seen in the valleys of South Wales :-(, in the last 5 times i have visited my local low fly area i have seen 1 Hawk!, but the loop is a lot busier than down here, Friday was good, im told 6 F15Es and 4 Tornado GR4s went through plus a few Hawks! who said Fridays were quiet!? lol.

Its worth a trip though, good luck, the scenery is stunning.
