15.10 calling as G-LUXE ( usually calls as METMAN 1 ) - climb FL160 - gave destination as Valley - the metrological 146 from Cranfield

ADSB shows him near Worcester heading NW

Hi Yammer were there F-15s operating over NWMTA about 30mins ago (1600z)?
Saw what looked like one on climbout from Valley (on rwy31). Surely not a misidentified F-35? Sun was setting etc etc excuses excuses...
Hear any banter? You never appear to miss v.much!
Cheers

Hi Tombs - I miss plenty !

Could it have been a pair of F-35s ? see MARHAM 103 and 104 thread - they *might* have visited Valley

It was around 1554z when I saw one on climbout after approach (pd) to Valley (rwy31). Unfortunately not on rwy13 this week (yet) because I then would have seen it (and them?) on SRA/Talkdown coming in over Holyhead mountain direction..

Cheers

Yes, both carried out approaches with ‘103 flying one circuit. ‘Marham103’ ZM149:015 & ‘Marham104’ ZM151:017. G-LUXE having flown a TACAN approach then flew a racecourse pattern over where the Cessna crashed/ditched off the coast of Anglesey.
