1159 - CHAOS011 - ZK381 - Typhoon T3 - 3 (F) Sqn + 2 - in the descend from FL280 to the N from Coningsby. (Showed as ZK336).
1218 - CHAOS011 - on finals and cleared land runway 25.
1219 - CHAOS012 - ZK349 - Typhoon FGR4 - on finals and cleared land runway 25.
1219 - CHAOS013 - ZK357 - Typhoon FGR4 - on finals and cleared land runway 25.

Was planning a run up at 2pm but looks like the 1200 surprised everyone. They had gone up the east coast of England, through Scotland before approaching NI from the NE. Maybe this was the "policing sortie" that was mentioned.

I would surmise that the policing is more to do with the setup at Aldergrove to support them during deployments away from main base at Coningsby or Lossiemouth. Perhaps we'll see more of them in the future.
