Missing Kc-135 Dates from 1981/2

Hello all I know its a long shot but here goes I have the dates for over 700 KC-135 that I have seen except for 3 aarrgghh.They are 55-3139 92bw,57-1472 336ARS,58-0032 108ARS. I would almost of certainly seen these at Mildenhall or Fairford in 1981 or 1982 does anyone have the dates that they saw any of these tankers during that time so I could then check these against the many dates I have for being at the hall and finally tie up all my tankers. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Malcolm yes that's a big help I was at the hall on 11-08-84 as it was also lakenheath Air Show so at least I have a date for one of them even if id seen it before then.

71472 at Mildenhall 18/9/1977
80032 still need this one if its still active, or may have to go to my local hard ware shop for it.

Thanks 60MU shame the dates don't tie in for me and yes its a very long time ago.as for 58-0032 it went to AMARG in march 2009

Hi Martin,

Dates that I have got in the relevant time period are:

53139 - 06/03/1982 at Fairford (92BW).
71472 - made this back in 1979 and did not see it afterwards - somehow I kept missing the 336ARS "summer school" (probably because I had seen them all by then).
80032 - 10/07/1982 at Mildenhall - Note that it was with 116ARS/WA. ANG at this time.

Hope that this can give you dates near enough to your visits.

Saw KC-135A 71472 during its deployment to Fairford 14 Jan - 24 Feb'82.(It had arrived in the UK at Mildenhall on 13Jan). This was assigned to the 22nd Air Ref Sqdn, 22BW at March.

`BAR` reported KC-135A 80032 as visiting Mildenhall on 23 Apr'81 and 6 Jul'82. On both occasions it was noted as Washington ANG (116 Air Ref Sqdn).
