Please can anyone provide the serial for the RAAF C-130 supporting F-111C s/n A8-143 at Honington in July 1977.

Not sure this helps but I noted A97-180 at Brize Norton 23/7/77. Can't have been too many Australian C-130s around at the time.

According to BARG there were two ar Honington. A97-159 which departed to Canada on 5/8/77 and A97-181 which followed on 8/8/77. Unfortunately arrival dates are not shown.

I only caught one RAAF C-130 parked with the F-111C in July.

Possibly associated with the Queen's silver jubilee at Finningly so have a look there?
