RAF Coltishall Airshow September 1969

Post by Vulture 01 » Fri Feb 03, 2023 3:38 pm

Has anyone out there got a list of participants (static and flying) at the above show, please?

I've tried the Scramble database and the 'net, with no result. If you don't have a list, do you have any suggestions about where else to look?

Thanks in anticipation.

Merv HAMBLING of Norfolk Aviation Society produced a book in 2003 listing the Coltishall BoB displays. If you send me your e-mail address I'll try and scan 1969 and send it. bowesfamily@hotmail.com

Another site that's useful is the Air Britain photo gallery. It's free to use and there are thousands of pictures from locations all over the world. I've looked at several places and nearly all the former military bases feature. I've looked at the Coltishall pages and whilst not complete, there are lots of photos of aircraft that participated at the At Home Days and at other times.

PM631/AD-C is a Spitfire PR.19 and not a Hurricane. At that time, the Historic Flight only had one Hurricane, LF363, which is listed.
