Morning,
Whilst looking for something else entirely, I noticed that I had logged a KC-135R at Mildenhall on the above date as 60-0352, with a Grand Forks fin flash and a yellow band (so presumably 319ARW?)
That serial is clearly wrong since 352 was written off in 1962! Any offers for the correct serial? I also noted 60-0355 and 63-8034 on that date, both also Grand Forks "yellow".
thanks
Stuart

KC-135T 60-0342 was a 319th ARW ship around that time (with the yellow fin flash)

According to 'BAR', the following 319th ARW KC-135s were based at Mildenhall in late February 1998:sschofield wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 10:46 amMorning,

60-0353 (21-27/2), 60-0355 (1-28/2), 61-0267 (18-28/2), 62-3557 (19-28/2) and 63-8034 (24-28/2).
'BAR' also states that 60-0342 was based 1-20/2, but that's not to say it didn't put in a later appearance.

Thanks for the replies both, inconclusive as to whether I mispoled 342 or 353, but luckily I don't need either so no big deal!
