Don't suppose anyone has a spare copy of the 7th edition they want to sell?! Not a lot of chance there I guess.
Failing that at the immediate moment I am after a copy of the Marham page or any information on these the three airframes below that were seen outside, out of use, on 8/6/79 (I was there to spot 4 x B-52s 60-0049/54/58 & 61-0003).
Canberra B2 on the dump marked "L" - pretty sure this is WJ753 that cartwheeled on landing on 19/6/78.
Another Canberra that I have noted as "Derelict" so probably not on the fire dump but on the airfield somewhere.
A Victor that I have noted as "Dump" which probably was on the fire dump - I haven't said what state it is in but presumably recognisable as a Victor still!

agree re "L" being WJ753 - my log notes have it with "no nose" dumped, Marham 1.10.1979
I also have WH703 code "S" red/white 100sqd as wfu Marham 1.10.1979
Victor XA932 my notes say wfu-decoy at Marham 1.10.1979
Hope that helps

The following is from Wrecks & Relics 7:
"Canberra B.2 WH703/8490M (ex 100 Sqn 'S') is still in use as an instructional airframe. On the dump Canberra T.19 WH903: P ex 100 Sqn was reduced to a very poor state by 1978. A report that Canberra WJ753/7656M had appeared on the dump here by 4/79 is thought wrong, this aircraft being at Henlow - any confirmation?"
In Wrecks & Relics 8:
"WJ753 Canberra B.2" had an additional note "...Ignore the comments on this aircraft on page 57 W&R7."
By that edition, WH863 Canberra T.17 is also listed as being with the BDRF by 8/81 - we now display the nose from this aircraft at Newark Air Museum.

The above reference to "WJ753.... this aircraft being at Henlow" is clearly wrong. The a/c at Hemlow was WJ573 (ie not 753) which was there from 12.60 to 8.74. On the other hand, WJ753 crashed at Marham 19.6.78 and was SOC 23.6.78 Cat.5 (Components).

For the sake of clarity the following comment in my post made the same point about the status of WJ753 and the W&R 8 entry told readers to ignore the original reference:
"In Wrecks & Relics 8:
"WJ753 Canberra B.2" had an additional note "...Ignore the comments on this aircraft on page 57 W&R7."
