Mildenhall Saturday 19th June 1993

Post by razzer56 » Tue Mar 01, 2022 11:59 am

Hi,
Can anyone help me with the following please:-

On the above date 8 Massachusetts ANG A-10's which were deployed to Ramstein returned to the US. I saw them overflying Frome,Somerset between 14.00 - 14.30 accompanied by 3 x KC-135's + 1 KC-10. I suspect the KC -135's may have been the 3 New Jersey ANG examples that were at Mildenhall. Can anyone please confirm that these machines did escort the A-10's home or have any departure times for these craft from Mildenhall on what looks to have been a very busy day there.

Many Thanks

Thanks very much for the reply mustang. I did trawl through BARG and noted the above. Hopefully some body may have more precise details on the departures of these Aircraft
