Re: Old E-4B Visits
I logged 75-0125 at Mildenhall 08/06/2008.
Re: Old E-4B Visits
No E4 visits listed for March 1993 in the relevant BAR's (or for Feb/Apr 93 either)
Re: Old E-4B Visits
Thanks, found Grim 99 s/n 74-0787 at Mildenhall on 09/06/08 conflict with 75-0125 above.
Re: Old E-4B Visits
Was there an E.4 in the UK in July 1991?

Re: Old E-4B Visits
Having been gifted a lazy Friday afternoon, what better way to pass the time than ferreting through 'BAR' for E-4B visits to the UK from 1992 through 1995:
5/7/92: 73-1676 Mildenhall
2/1/93: 75-0125 Mildenhall
9-16/1/94: 75-0125 Mildenhall
6/7/94: 75-0125 Mildenhall
25/10/94: '85-0125' (presumably a typo for 75-0125) Mildenhall
4/12/94: 74-0787 Mildenhall
8/5/95: 73-1677 Mildenhall
20-22/7/95: 75-0125 Heathrow

28/11-3/12/95: 74-0787 Mildenhall
14-15/12/95: 73-1676 Mildenhall

Re: Old E-4B Visits
Going back even further through my logs:-
16/11/75 E-4A 73-1676 at Mildenhall
2/8/75 E-4A 73-1677 at Mildenhall
These birds are getting rather long in the tooth, and the only suitable replacement of any size would be a Boeing 773. If they want four engines they are rather stymied as Boeing are phasing out 747 production
