A couple of comments from my log:
Mirage IIIE "514 or 574" was 514 (574 was marked '13-QF' and probably inside at that time - it went to GI at Rochefort).
CM.170 "219" was actually 209 (219 was current with GE-315 as '315-QG' at the time).
Elsewhere on the field was Mirage IIIR 304, though I cannot now recall where (went on to Savigny, Hermeskeil, then to Zruc).

Ah that takes me back! Visited Chateaudun back in 2000 on our French base tour. We could have gone across the border to Ramstein instead! But sadly I wasn't driving, I know where I would rather had gone
