Mildenhall 7-12-1997

Post by slogen51 » Tue Oct 13, 2020 1:12 pm

Just looking at my 1997 log for the Buckley query, I noticed my own screw up -

86005 ?? C-18/B707?

I am not even sure of the type but it may have been a B707 type!

The main reason for the drive were a pair of AMX and 4 AV F-16 in Lakenheath

Plus 12422 CH-124 in Docklands

98-6005 Boeing 707, which carried its serial as 86005.

It was (again/still ?) at Mildenhall on 13/12/1997........https://abpic.co.uk/pictures/view/1564124

Saw it at Fairford in Sep'98 using a Reach c/s. Believed to have a Special Forces connection as a SF exercise was taking place at the time.

I can't remember if I read them off ( unlikely ) or I knew from somewhere what the serials were!
