86-0292 and 86-0285 but I don't think either have ever visited the UK.

What makes you think they're F-16s?

Agreed.

Like most people I saw them as LR at Luke and 292 is now AZ so I doubt you saw those serials on F-16 in East Anglia?

Do you mind if I move this to old serial request?

No not at all slogan51 EVGP and slogan51 I've come across some well quite a few serials of different aircraft for some reason I've got them as f16s which when checked out were indeed based in the usa I think I've got it totally wrong and these aren't what I thought you guys have confirmed that thanks for your help I can discard these two now thanks raptor22

Sure they are not 135s from Mildenhall, 61-0285 and 61-0292 both have been based there although 285 not for a very long time

If you are thinking of 10 ACCS machines 61-0292 was not one of them it remained as a standard tanker eventually becoming a KC-135R.

The serial presentation on the fin would have been 10292 and 10285 so I can't see how you would write down the first decade of the fiscal.

Perhaps those are the phone numbers for Mickey's tea bar

Indeed as posted in 09/2018 these two F-16's stayed back from a deployment of 6 to attend an airshow in the Czech Republic. All info in post at the time with the second last by Slogen 51 (and I made the last!). Some egg flying here.

Oh yes!

Sorry about that - they have been to Mildenhall!

I must of missed those somehow although I was certainly living in Norfolk then.

PLMC, I was thinking of one 10 ACCS EC-135 and one KC-135 both are '135s as stated and both have been based (or at least have been present) together at Mildenhall at some time since the mid 80s. Anyhow looks like it was F-16s after all

I don't make notes of stuff I don't see if I made a note of those serials then they have been seen now if your linking it to mildenhall tankers yep I would definitely have see one 61 0292 but impossible for me to have seen 61 0285 as I'm sure it was withdrawn before I could of seen it and from my memory ok not great I can remember going to LN and mildenhall to see two lots of f16s
