REQ: VMFA(AW)-332 FA-18D Farnborough 28-08-95

I've been unsuccessful in putting a serial to this photograph.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/25034864@ ... ed-public/

It was taken the week prior to the Farnborough '95 airshow and looking at Scramble reports it appears not to have stayed to participate in the show, as the two FA-18s present were USN machines and coded 300 & 400.

I can make out 'Moonlighters' on the wing tanks which make it a VMFA(AW)-332 machine and you'll see coded 411 on the nose.

Many thanks if you're able to help.

Neil

Minor problem here old chap, there wasn't a Farnborough show in 1995; they are held in even number years.

Thanks for the correction on the year, of course it was '96.

nugget20 - many thanks and a google of that serial brings up a nice pick of it carrying the 411 code at Bydgoszcz, Poland, on August 26th 1996.

Many thanks for that.

Neil
