T-2A at Meridian

Post by Skymaster » Tue Apr 02, 2019 5:52 pm

Can anyone confirm the serial of this T-2A at Meridian, in the late 70s, please?

Possibly 147522, which scramble has marked as being as preserved at Meridian?

Thanks

147522 was on the base and 147516 was on Highway 39 at the town in 1986 when we read them. HTH

Thanks for the info.

It must be the one on highway 39 that I took a piccy of, in bicentennial colours, back in 76. I logged it as "On a stick near Meridian".

I see that scramble has it as "on roof of Toyota garage".

I've now found it on google maps... https://www.google.com/maps/place/John+ ... 88.6837912

It doesn't look like it's on the roof now, but I guess that it's been moved one or twice over the years. No garage back then, just trees behind it.

I really must get those old slides scanned.
