Typhoons 2006

Typhoons 2006

On 6 Nov 2006 at Coningsby I noted BY in 29 Sqn markings and QO-L in 3 Sqn markings.

I would be grateful if anyone could let me have the serial numbers, or point me to where I might find them.

Hi Peter, the following should be correct :-

ZJ918/QO-L
ZJ915/BY

Both confirmed from photos on https://www.airliners.net/ from before and after November 2006. :)

Don't forget that it has been known for two aircraft to have had the same code at the same time, though!

Maybe someone else can confirm the serials please?

I noted ZJ918 as QO-L on 30/10/06.
The closest date I have noted for ZJ915 is 06/03/06 when it was indeed coded BY.
