Assuming your request relates to a RAF A330 as you do not state what direction or height your sighting was
Below is the recorded departures and arrivals from Brize Norton for that day
08.37 ZZ332 departed Brize Norton as RRR2320, for overhead Southend add approx. 30 min
10.55 ZZ335 departed Brize Norton as RRR2752, as above
15.07 ZZ335 arrived at Brize Norton as RRR2753, For overhead Southend delete approx. 30 min
19.40 ZZ334 arrived at Brize Norton as RRR2735 , as above
HTH regards

Many thanks.

Not sure of the altitude, but it was clearly visible.

It was banking round and turning westwards.

It had refuelling pods under each wing, but hoses were not deployed.

My guess is it was returning from a refuelling flight over the North Sea.

I’ve had a look using the playback on Planefinder and think you can discount ZZ334 as that routed in over Hastings and onto Biggin before turning west so would of been quite a bit to the west of you.
You don’t give a time so it makes it a bit awkward to give an idea of what you saw.

I am not sure of the time, although I do know it was after the Vulcan flyover.

I thought it was after 1430.
