Bratislava Sept 1992

Bratislava Sept 1992

Whilst strolling through the town of Bratislava whilst attending the above airshow I came across a MiG19PM Serial 0921 (c/n 650921) standing on 4 tall concrete plinths which I duly photgraphed.
Putting the above info into Google Images reveals virtually the same view I took,albeit in better condition than I saw.
My question is: What happened to it?

I assume you mean the one in the park on ul. Dunajská in Bratislava? It was reported scrapped in the mid 1990s when it's condition had got very bad and there was no money to restore it. Be interested to see your image of it, as maybe one of the last taken?

I'm no photographer but I'll dig it out and scan the print and see how it turns out.
