American Airshow Lists

Am going through my old logs and have a problem with US shows. Have tried Scramble and had some success, but have struck out on a few shows.
Do other users know of any other sites that have show reports from the States. Any help greatly appreciated.

What shows and years are you looking for? 'BARG' did good show reports up to its closure at (I think) the end of 2000.

The 3 I can't find are Confederate Air Force shows 1992 and 1994 and New Orleans JRB 2000.

There's a list for a show in October 2000 at 'New Orleans NAS' in the Scramble list of US shows; looks like it's an all-civil listing. Is that the show you are looking for?

Re. the CAF shows in 1992 and 1994: it's possible that BARG included some sort of coverage of one or both, but a) they tended not to provide lists of 'warbirds' and b) I won't have access to my 'BAR' journals for about another month to confirm one way or t'other - but there are at least a couple of other 'BAR'-equipped chaps on this site who might take a look and see if there was any coverage of these two shows. I looked through BARG , Found a report for 1992 in the Jan 1993 edition . I don't have past 1994 magazines on DVD so can't help on that year .

As Mustang5861 mentioned , only Current military was reported .

Shame about the lack of warbirds info, that was what I was looking for, as photos were not enough to get details.

You might want to consider putting a request for 'warbird' details for the shows you mentioned on the Key Publishing (Flypast magazine) forum:

Given that the magazine is very much warbirds orientated, I'd say that's your best chance of finding one or more people who were at the shows and have the relevant information. Again, good luck!

I went to the CAF show in 1994, but need to have a dig to get the logging books out. Obviously there were far more warbirds than current military. The foreign visitor that year was a Nimrod, looking s bit out of place in the middle of Texas. I'll start adding stuff later.

Following on from the previous entry, the logging books have been dug out and I have lists for the CAF Show at Midland TX, I was there both days. I will start with the current types, but some unit details might be missing. I cannot differentiate between static and flying, so apologies in advance.
