My name's Grace, I'm almost 21 years young, and I'm addicted to aircraft..
I've been hanging around the forum as a guest for a few weeks now and I thought it's about time I joined up! I've loved aircraft since I was about two years old, carried a little yellow helicopter everywhere with me as a child. Aircraft isn't my only love though, I also share an interest in trains, motorbikes, cars, trucks, ships, and computers/video games.. I am a girl I swear!
I've been studying Aeronautical Engineering for the last five years of my educational life. Most of the time I'm up to my eyeballs in theory work, but occasionally I get to climb all over the two Jet Provosts and ex-military Gazelle we have to play with! Recently I've actually been asked to strip down one of the JP's Viper engines to see if we can clean it up and use it as a display engine.
I'm a regular at Waddington Air Show so a few of you may have unknowingly seen me around, I'm tiny, but I stand out!
I should probably wrap this up so I look forward to seeing the activity on the forum as the year progresses, particularly the photos, from what I've seen so far they're stunning! Thanks for listening to my rambling!
