Hello everyone,
Old(ish) timer here, been in and out of radio since early 1970s and brought back into the hobby via ADSB tracking and now have the old scanners out from the loft. Next job is to get some decent antennae connected.

Hello! Been a bit of a lurker for a while, finally decided to sign up. Ex-sooty, mostly tonkas, hence the name!

Hi everyone,
Very happy to join the forum after watching from the outside for a few months. I reside in Denver near Downham Market(yes, another Norfolk boy). Hopefully get to meet some of you around the bases in the future, if I didn't speak to you at Marham during the USMC visit in the last couple of months.

Thanks for the add, am a keen Glasgow based amateur photographer, tbh over the last few years my passion with the camera has been motorcycle Road Racing, regular trips to Ireland and the Isle of Man, but this year obviously that's been knocked in the head, have developed a keen interest in Military Activity and unusual Civilian activity around Prestwick/Glasgow but had a visit to the Lakes recently cancelled and plan to travel further afield once I can with Lossiemouth on the agenda. Have recently moved onto Canon from Pentax and am loving it. Look forward to spending some time going through all the nooks and crannies in FC.
Cheers John

Hello, been a lurker for a little bit and had a keen interest in military aviation for a while, recently got into airband scanning during lockdown and it’s great for working at home, better than a normal radio!

Hey fellow plane geeks
New to the forum, but been looking up at the sky for years - my dad's fault for taking me to Prestwick Airport aged 4!! (crikey almost 50 years ago!!)
Currently in Aberdeenshire so not a lot of above action but the occasional Typhoon buzzes past the house now and again!
I was working at RAF Lossiemouth building the new P8 hangars for a few months around 2 years ago - watching the practice QRA (did I get that right?) take-offs with full afterburners was fun to say the least! Prior to that working in Craigellachie with no end of fast jets screaming over the office
Spend my time now (working from home) with an eye on 360radar (I'm a contributor) for anything interesting passing overhead and listening to the milair scanner for any chitchat - quite a lot this morning on 253.125 MHz!

Hi
New to the forum. Main aircraft hobby is the dreaded civil...but will take an interest in anything aviation. Live in Leyland and work in Preston so can hear and see quite a few Eurofighters in and out of Warton, just difficult to get over there to do any spotting at the moment given the restrictions and even without the restrictionsn work and the two young kids get in the way. Been seeing more and more of the P-8s from Lossie heading south to Sigonella over the top of home and FC is always the source for confirmation it seems. Pretty sure I was a member previously but lost account details over time.
Cheers
Darren
