I am working on an Aston Martin DB6 race car project and we are in the process of fitting modern electric air-conditioning. The owner of the car has some connection to military aviation especially the English Electric lightning and Hawker Hunter. I was wondering if anybody knew of any aircraft cockpit vents that we could use in place of the horrible modern plastic items that come with the kit. My initial thought was the aluminium airball vents from older airlines but I would much prefer if we could have something with military heritage.
All this is a little bit random I know but I thought that if anyone would have any ideas it would be one of you lot
