Hello All
Nice to meet you, I am a keen photographer from the city of Stoke-on-Trent which is known as 'The Potteries' because of the ceramic industrial heritage in the area.
I am an ex-Fox2 contributor (about 3 or 4 years) and am mainly interested in shooting low flying fast jets (Mach Loop), hence my interest in Fox2. Not seen a specific place for posting low flying shots on Fighter Control but expect I will find out soon enough! I also like wildlife photography, particularly birds of prey but actually will have a go at any wildlife stuff, I have a cousin who owns a farm nearby with photo hides set up and a mate that owns a pet shop so plenty of opportunities to photograph wild birds, creepy crawlies, spiders, scorpions and other interesting critters.
I am a Nikon user which means half of the contributors on here will be marking me as 'Foe' (only joking), my main gear for jets being a D500 with a 300 f2.8 attached
My fave jets at the Loop are the F-15Es and Tonkas, nothing like either of those roaring past rattling the windows!
Look forward to posting some recent Loop shots, I expect pics of the Canadian F-18s that were doing low level sorties just before RIAT this year have already been posted in droves but will no doubt add my contributions too!
That's about it for now so all the best, Chris (Swee-pea)
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

Hello Chris, welcome to the club
Yes there is a photo section set up now purely for low flying - after several ex Fox2 members joined here; so you'll be able to put your photos on there

Thanks for the welcome messages guys, much appreciated! Mark, have tried clicking the link to low level stuff but it won't let me in. Do I need administrator authorisation to post there?
thanks again, Chris

I expect a moderator will reply - but i think it might be to do with needing to make 5 posts before you can access that section.
Re: Hello from Stoke-on-Trent
Sorry, I wasn't aware any of the photo sections were restricted, I know the heads up section is but that's news to me
Cheers
