Hi

I am a long time aviation enthusiast living close to Waddington.

It's been been very quiet around here for a while especially since the air show finished in 2014.

However it's been just like the old days again with the Cobra Warrior exercise currently on going.

For anyone who has not been over yet to view the jets because they were unsure from previous comments about how much chaos there would be well I would say if you get the chance do come over as the organisation for parking over at Wave is first class.

After looking at fighter control for many years I have finally decide to join!

hi all im a newbie but with a lifelong aviation interest born into me as my late father was a winchman on whirlwinds sar back in the day after the usual atc stint including chippy flying i found myself involved in the air display scene eventually crewing Dakota N47FK including the filming of Band Of Brothers at North Weald then contacts got me involved with An2 D-FKMA based at Wellesbourne which was followed by An2 H-AMKF based at Popham i maintain interest and contacts in all things aviation and have recently re-ignited my interest in scanning the atc communications.

Greetings all, long time lurker here, in the neighbours garden hedges. :)

A love of photography and a want to practice it first got me into aviation many years ago.

Also from Swindon so my webbed feet are handy for getting me to fairford fence line pretty sharpish for the deployments.
