Welcome aboard, buddy
You won't mind if I call you Ed, as that Welsh moniker might be misspelt

Re: New to FC or not so new? Introduce yourself here.
Hi all, my name is Andy. I joined up a few days back and this is my first post. I am very interested in all things military, my dad being in the British Army helped I suppose!
I have looked on the site a few times before joining up. I have visited Warton earlier this year and got nothing
but have been to many airshows over the years and I am now trying to venture into the low flying areas.
I will be making my first trip to the mach loop on Monday 9th September (if the weather holds) and hopefully will catch something! It is quite a trek from where I live in the North West of England but once I've done the route I suppose getting there again will be easier.
Hope to speak to you all again soon.

Re: New to FC or not so new? Introduce yourself here.
Hello everyone,
My name is Jack and I am 20 years old, I've been into all things military since I was young, my father was a serving member of the RAF for 32 years so it's been a major part of my life. I signed up a couple of days ago but this morning my account was activated so I decided to post! I have had some experience with spotting and photographing aircraft, kind of hard not to when I mostly live on airbases...
But would like to expand my knowledge a bit more! RAF Leuchars is my usual stomping ground so I hope to meet some of you out there.
Jack.

I can say that when the fixed wing birds are flying the loop you'll love it and be back for more, and welcome to FC by the way

Hi Folks,
I served 28 years in the RAF. I was lucky to have spent my early years on BASO and the Ace Mobile Force working with Hunter/P1127/Kestrel and Harrier ( 1(F) sqn). I was the radio op calling in the air support and most of the operation was in morse, my boss was the FAC. I now live in Lairg, Sutherland, a low flying area, and its nice to see the fast jets again.
Regards Mick

Welcome from me.Papa Pitt wrote:I'm new to the site. I have a deep interest in military aircraft, both past and present. I spent 20 years(1970 - 1990) maintaining F-111A/D/E/F/FB and F-15A/B in the USAF.
From what I've seen so far, this site is going to become one of my favorites.
Did you ever get over here, to the 51st State of the Union? Specifically, Upper Heyford. If you have any snaps of your time in the USAF, you will find a appreciative audience for them
Enjoy the site.
