Just introducing myself on this forum - I'm in Hellesdon, Norwich, about a mile from the airport, I see there are a few other Norfolk boys on here too
Grew up in the fens where I had a good view of aircraft taking off and landing at Mildenhall, whilst also being on the flightpath for Lakenheath. Spent many evenings listening to the MVT-225 scanner whilst watching the action. Always remember the occasional manoeuvres around the village, where the MH-53's would be so low! Both neighbours were US servicemen from Feltwell, one of which I'm still in touch with. Used to give us heads up when interesting aircraft were inbound 
RIAT regular, but unfortunately not able to go this year

Not got so much time for spotting these days as have a 2 year old in tow, although she did thoroughly enjoy RIAT last year! Was sorry to have missed the bulk of the F22s recently, as unable to get down to Lakenheath, but did manage to see one over the house.
