Home made antenna

Post by Steve1958 » Tue Feb 27, 2024 4:11 pm

Iv'e had a home made flowerpot antenna up for a couple of years now, i was wondering is it possible to build one purely for mil air. I pick up quite a lot of the east coast from where i live but cant help wondering if im missing out. The one i made was centred at about 123mhz.

Hi Steve :P

The fount of all knowledge for aerials would probably be Roger Heapy, known as ‘Hregor’ on this forum :D

I’m not sure how many posts you have to have made before you can access all areas, but putting a question in the search box about bowtie aerials or suchlike should get you to some good intel on the subject :thumb:

Happy listening, anyways :)
