Home made antenna

Iv'e had a home made flowerpot antenna up for a couple of years now, i was wondering is it possible to build one purely for mil air. I pick up quite a lot of the east coast from where i live but cant help wondering if im missing out. The one i made was centred at about 123mhz.

The fount of all knowledge for aerials would probably be Roger Heapy, known as ‘Hregor’ on this forum

I’m not sure how many posts you have to have made before you can access all areas, but putting a question in the search box about bowtie aerials or suchlike should get you to some good intel on the subject
