Hello

Post by Len707 » Thu Sep 05, 2019 8:05 am

After many years as a visitor to FC finally got round to joining spurred on by great day out at Waddington for Cobra Warrior. Been spotting for donkeys years with fond memories of B of B shows at Leuchars and when I moved south at Finningley and Waddington.
Still hanker after Lightnings Vulcans and Starfighters but Typhoons aren't half bad.
Looking forward to being part of FC community.

Many thanks Tiger 1. Spent a fair bit of the morning just trawling through the vast amount of info on the site. Giving me ideas for some trips!

On Monday am the Wave car park was full by about 9.30. However there is plenty of parking on the old dispersal just to the south of the Wave.
In terms of aircraft 8 of the 10 German EF2000's flew, 3 of the 4 Italian Typhoons and 6 of 7 Israeli F15's (one went tech).
In addition three of the based Shadow R1 flew and an Airseeker.
Not a bad morning. Pm there was very little. Think the exercise aircraft are only flying every second day.
Hope this helps.
