Short introduction

Hi all,

Long time spotter, joined the forum only recently. I am Richard from Rotterdam in The Netherlands, frequent visitor to the UK, spotter since 1986. I am not as active in the hobby as I used to, in the past I was one of the editors/contributors to Scramble aviation magazine.
As a side hobby I collect die cast aircraft models, also a frequent contributor to one of the leading forums on everything die cast jet... :-)

We are a freindly bunch on here and I'm sure all the members will join me in welcoming you to the FC family.

From my own experience... there is a wealth of information on the forum with a lot of the members having an extensive knowledge of the hobby.

It doesn't matter which part of the hobby you follow weather it be Spotting... Serials... Photos or just Military Aviation in general... help is just a request away.

I started spotting in 1983 and I also collect diecast model Spitfires from the Corgi Archive Collection... I joined the forum in 2009 and it as proved to be very enjoyable... informative and extremely helpful forum to be a member of.

I hope you enjoy the forum as much as we do.
