Hi everyone

I'm making my way down to Mildenhall tomorrow for the Patch Meet and will be passing Cambridge Airport on the way down.

Do any of you guys know if there are any C130s parked out side at the moment.

Many thanks for your help.

I made a trip down this morning and it was complete fog-out so can't say for certain if anything was outside or not. There was nothing left outside on Wednesday evening.

Rumour has it they have run out of money. Thus it was moved outside.

Given its current state, a few months wouldn’t be an unreasonable guess.

Following the contract to support the French C-130H fleet back in 2018 (https://marshallaerospace.com/insights- ... les-c-130h), have the French Hercules actually visited Cambridge in this time? Is the work being carried out in France? Will the French Hercules ever visit Cambridge airport (the press release talks of a transition period, four year contract and then options to extend) so I should think the contract must be almost up, if not already.

Talking of nations Marshalls have contracts with but the aircraft haven't actually visited Cambridge, are there any other fleets for which this is the case - France, Cameroon - any others?
