C-130 today

I visited Anglesey Abbey, which is on the Cambridge flightpath, today. At 1.30 p.m. local I saw a C-130 fling in and out of the cloud base. It appeared to have both the usual (pre 130J)underwing tanks and tanks on the outer wings. I'd be grateful if anybody can id the a/c.

I am told it was probably an MC-130 from Mildenhall.
