All - hopefully someone can respond to the query on the Indian in the hangar in the earlier email or confirm if KC-3802 is no longer outside. Cheers John

I don't however, know for certain if it was KC-3802 that I could see at the front of the hangar mentioned in my query (I'd guess it probably was, but any confirmation would be appreciated).

Could be BAF 99-5481Professor_M wrote: ↑Wed Oct 05, 2022 8:03 pmAlso, which RAF Hercules (well, dark green) was parked right in the north-west corner of the hangar, just visible behind the Indian with some pannels and control surfaces missing?

Re: Herc's at CBG October 2022
KC-3801 was towed out of the hangar at 0940 this morning to go to the engine run bay.
212, 842, 5957/QD all outside, as were two RAF marked C4 Hercules which I couldn't read off.
Inside the easter hangar was KAF328 just inside the door. Also visible was the same green Hercules with some parts missing that I saw last week.

After KAF328's test flight today, is it known how much longer until it will depart for home?

Morning chaps,
I’ve just got round to checking KC-3802 and found it’s my last Indian Herc!!
Can anyone confirm this is still definitely outside? I’m gonna take the day off work tomorrow and come down from Manchester tonight if it is.

It wasn't outside yesterday morning, only KC-3801 which was towed to the engine run bay (reported to have since been towed back to the hangar that afternoon).Ronald Jeremy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 11, 2022 6:42 amMorning chaps,

Ok cheers Prof M.
Not coming down if it’s not outside. My own fault for being lazy and not checking it earlier

I might be able to give an update on what's outside around 1800 tonight for more certainty, if that's not too late for you?Ronald Jeremy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 11, 2022 7:11 amOk cheers Prof M.

This was reported as being hangared over the weekend with a picture of it inside the hangar with the door open.

That would be good Prof M if you get to pass there. If not no worries.

KAF328 was outside but pulled into the hangar during my visit, didn't get a chance to see anything through the hangar doors.
Can anyone confirm which to RAF Hercules were outside today?
Ronald Jeremy - I can confirm there was no sign of KC-3802 outside.

As RDAF Challenger C-172 arrived this afternoon, one of the Indian C-130J-30 were outside, as well as 842, 5957/QD and one RAF Hercules C4.

As of 9am this morning, only 842 (C-130H, SwAF) and one green RAF marked Hercules with no ZH___ visible - can anyone confirm which on this was?

Re: Herc's at CBG October 2022
Thankyou for that, as you say, maybe the same one, maybe not - they do like shuffling the Hercs around so it's hard to tell if on was the same as another time just in a different place, or if it's a different one that has been dragged out of the hangars.Evergreen 44 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 7:42 pmNot sure if still the same one but I noted ZH867 there mid-day 14-10-22

Re: Herc's at CBG October 2022
No problem. Keep taking some reference photos as the RAF here's look a bit tired and have sightly different wear marks / panel differences which should enable identification
