Is it known how much longer it will be before ZH883 starts flying in Bangladeshi colours?

It’s unknown. However what is known from the Facebook group is that ZH883 (99-5481) is in the Bangladeshi Colours already.

I noted 842 (84002) with its tail sticking out of a hangar + 212/MAI out on the ramp yesterday (Sunday 25th) there were two others on the ramp which I failed to read .. any offers please ?

A quick query about 84002 - it's the tanker aircraft, wikipedia lists it as a KC-130H, scramble a tp.84 but with a note to say it's the tanker. Do the Swedes themselves have any special designation for 84002?

Good morning STN RAMP RAT

We called in to Cambridge Airport this morning enroute to Mildenhall and Lakenheath and found the following C130s outside at 07-45am

From the left to right...

Sweedish AF 842 bottom of the field.

US Navy? 165957 ( QD ) near Tower.

US Navy? 167923 ( QD ) near Tower

Qatar 212 near Tower

???? couldn't read this off... this was parked tail on in front of 212... this had fout digits on the fin... couldn't see a code on fin so possibly not a US Navy Herc... maybe the Bangladeshi?... it was just to tight an angle to read it off.

The last C130 was the old RAF one with faded paint work to the right of the tower.

Thanks for the logs you put up they are very helpful.

If you could help with the missing serial that would be very much appreciated.

Was the tail on herk green? I noted G-275 outside last Sunday at a tail-on angle.

Hi guys.
Do we know any movement dates for any of these Hercs ? Takeofffs, landings, poss testing ?
Looks a great site for photos, with some poss good shot locations for something a bit different.
Just don't want to spend all day at the runway reading a book, lol.
Are planes only here for paint jobs, or do they do servicing here ?
