Thanks for the info. I saw this from John's field and have been googling the Hex (34414f) for an idea of who it belongs to without success.

Andrew.

Following the closure of Air Livery Manchester, I'd imagine they'll all go through Cambridge now :(

Hi

Has anybody on here got the C/n or the F- for MRTT053

Scramble mentions c/n 1848 but that was in 2018

C/N 1891 MRTT053 ex F-WWYV/EC-333 should become 19-004 ROKAF

EGVP. Cambridge and Manchester are not the only painting facilities they also use Manching chateroux and others

Unless I am confused...

18-001 MRTT050 c/n 1787 (ex F-WWYO/EC-331)
19-002 MRTT053 c/n 1848 (ex F-WWKJ/EC-334)
19-003 MRTT052 c/n 1891 (ex F-WWYV/EC-333) this was visually confirmed as such at Manchester and photos are online.
19-004 MRTT051 c/n 1883 (ex F-WWKP/EC-339)

You are confused...
19-002 was delivered in March, so cannot be arriving at Cambridge for painting in October. Here is a photo showing both MRTT051 and serial 19-002:

When you say "19-003 MRTT052 c/n 1891 (ex F-WWYV/EC-333)" was visually confirmed as such what exactly do you mean? The serial, the c/n, the MRTT number, the previous identities, or any combination of both?

The serial, the c/n, the MRTT number
These three bits were confirmed at Manchester, though not by me personally.

So my confusion leads us on to Scramble... "MRTT 053 EC334 2nd RKoAF (1848)" (from here) having been seen back in March 2018.

Presumably this was really c/n 1883 and the one that is now, finally, being painted - more than 18 months later?

Could I please ask you to reconfirm with whoever checked the c/n at Manchester?
I cannot find a single source or photo to disprove:

19-003 K3 1883 MRTT052 (ex EC-339, F-WWKP)
(004) K4 1891 MRTT053 (ex EC-333, F-WWYV)

However, that does not of course prove that it is correct.

Andy,
You are correct with your tie ups. I very much doubt that the CN was checked at Manchester but that somebody reported a number taken from a database.

AED353 departed CBG this morning, confusingly showing as EC-331 rather than EC-333 on FR24.

Seen it fly over the top of my place of work at Sandy, Beds, heading south. Hope those that were present at Cambridge got some nice images of it.
Paul.
