Any news yet on which day all the International aircraft will validate? It's been on the Friday afternoon in the past.
Re: Cosford Air Show 2018 - Shawbury visitors
The good news, however, is this means that 50% of movements are correct . . . !
Anyway, hope everyone enjoys the event, whether at Shawbury or Cosford or both.

Are there any practice display times yet ?
Re: Cosford Air Show 2018 - Shawbury visitors
Rafale display team have tweeted 'See you on the 9th and 10th' which would suggest they are validating sometime on Saturday.
Re: Cosford Air Show 2018 - Shawbury visitors
All info is great , adds to the excitement of the build up. Having an afternoon at Cosford tomorrow hope to catch a practice or two .
Re: Cosford Air Show 2018 - Shawbury visitors
Any updates on arrivals today.
Also any suggestions on viewing spots as the last time I was at Shawbury there were Chipmunks in the circuit and Wessex doing the helicopter training!

Re: Cosford Air Show 2018 - Shawbury visitors
The Polish Mig's arrived at Leeuwarden with a delay of aprox. 2 hours.
So if they continue today it will be a rather late arrival. The Casa is only arriving in Leeuwarden in 30 minutes, so around 14.00Z.

Re: Cosford Air Show 2018 - Shawbury visitors
Are you sure that it did validate at Cosford or just familiarising with the airfield ?I guess if it was a validation then it won't do another on Friday or Saturday.
Re: Cosford Air Show 2018 - Shawbury visitors
People at Cosford said it didn’t validate today .
Re: Cosford Air Show 2018 - Shawbury visitors
Thanks for that,I didn't think it would so soon after arriving.Probably just familiarising with the airfield.Hopefully catch it tomorrow afternoon or Saturday.I think Cosford airfield opens at 14.00 hrs on both days.
Re: Cosford Air Show 2018 - Shawbury visitors
Can you confirm that Cosford airfield opens at 14.00 tomorrow? Many thanks.GhostWalker wrote: ↑Thu Jun 07, 2018 5:19 pmIt's opens at 1400 ON Saturday indeed. Also got told today the reds will park on the West side over the Shawbury airfield this year.
Re: Cosford Air Show 2018 - Shawbury visitors
It landed on the fourth or fifth approach at Shawbury. There were fast approaches and steep climbs plus wing overs with and without wheels down. So to be clear I am talking about approaches at Shawbury.
