Always nice to return to Shropshire with the added incentive of a visit to RAF Shawbury. due to the low cloud Typhoon 45 treated us to a (flat) superb low level display a judicious amount of reheat generated from the EJ 200 engines.
Just before 16.30pm one of the Typhoons entered the runway lined up released the brakes and treated us to a Tarnish 5/69 reheat rotation which ended with a series of rolls before setting course for Coningsby, I'm assuming it was 927 the other Typhoon was seen under tow for what I assume to be overnight hangarage.
Much as I like Typhoons give me Tornados here are some photos from lossie .
