Great Welcome

called in at WAVE yesterday, and was welcomed with a great cuppa, just the way I like it. I Got chatting to Johnathan, who I have never met before, but seen his pic of the C17. The shop, is full of books, badges, and models. I was told that if I joined as a WAVE member, I could get a percentage off purchases and a newsletter, from wave. Unfortunatly I picked the wrong day to visit, as there was no activity at Waddo, and was very quiet. Not even chit/chat on the scanner. I will go up there again soon, and hope for a better flying activity.
It was great to meet you all up there. All was not lost though, as I called into knights CB (Kirton Lindsey), to see Doug. I ment to get a rubber antenna, for my Yupiteru, but traded my Scanners (AOR 1000, Yupiteru 5000, & Icom R5) for a Icom R6 (New type) A surgestion of a visitors book in WAVE, so we could see who gets there, was noted.

Anyway back to putting frequencys into the ICOM R6.
