Air Show Arrivals Day

Post by 350biker » Wed Jun 01, 2011 7:19 am

John - can you throw any light on the form for Arrivals Day please. The show website is conspicuously empty. Assume it's as usual? Pity the Czech's have cancelled and the US stuff will no doubt arrive early in the week. Thanks

The 'tent brigade' are no longer a problem. The organisers stopped tents and windbreaks on the front line last year. They now have to be a few metres back.

more like they don't wanna get ripped off by people who don't want to pay .so that must mean all those guys who stand outside are breaking health and safety then and are in danger we can't have that can we

I think tornadopaul41 was referring to the Spitfire Grandstand being sold-out.

No. See Mayfly's post. The sold out is in reference to the Spitfire Grandstand which is open on the Saturday and Sunday show days.

Keep an eye on the Waddington Airshow website. There is normally a webpage detailing the arrival and departure day enclosure just off the A15 (Not the WAVE). That enclosure is non advance ticket. You just pay on the gate.
