Waddington parking + the Wave
Waddington parking + the Wave
Hi all, some strange rumours circulating here in Holland tell that "the Wave" is closed indefinitely, as is the whole parking beside the A15! Sure hope this is incorrect! Comments, anyone?

Hi TbirdPaul,
Your question would possibly get a response if you posted it again under the Wave Forum rather than on Forum Rules ? (Board Index/Spotters Area/Serials and Airfield Logs/Lincolnshire & Rutland/RAF Waddington/The Wave...
Hope this helps

Re: Waddington parking + the Wave
The WAVE is most definitely alive and well, and is not closed.
Its open 9-5 in the week, and also most weekends.
There is still plenty of parking, you can't park on the side of the A15 at all, as has always been the case.
The hedge and grass verge are very long/tall at the moment so viewing is not that easy.
Hope this helps,
Mike

Has the mound of gravel gone from inside the gates? Was useful when caught without ladders.

The chalk pile on the opposite side of the A15 went about 8 or 9 years ago
