In a first for Joint Warrior, there will be activity in South Wales and England. St Athan will act as a Forward Mounting base for an Air Brigade between 13th-19th April. Forces will then deploy but may pop back in and out in smaller numbers until 27th April.

Various UK helicopters can be expected, as well as the possibility of C130 and C17 transports supporting the deployment days.

Photos of it departing show two Chinooks and two Apaches on the deck, if there are Sea Kings on board they are in the hangar.
