The Northen QRA were involved with the intercept of Two Russian TU95 Bears. The Dutch Airforce were also involved in the intercept using F16s.

RAF Linton on Ouse has been busy this week with a Graduation that saw 9 Tucanos in formation and visiting aircraft including a 6 Squadron Typhoon.

An F15 at RAF Lakenheath had a In Flight Emergency that led to the Aircraft having to take the Arrestor wire. All was well and the Aircraft landed safely.

This week saw the official roll out and photoflight of the two F-16's who have special tails to celebrate the 60th anniversary of 311 "Nato's Finest" Squadron and 312 "Bonzo" Squadron based at Volkel AB.
Sadly enough 311 Sqn was disbanded during the last defence cuts but luckily just 8 days before disbandment she turned 60 years.

This week we also saw pictures from Aviano Air Base where aircraft have been involved with ongoing operations in Libya, including a United States Navy EA6B Prowler.
