Hi
After just making a 1/16 scale MiA2 Main battle tank with over 1000 parts wanted some thing simple to make
The answer lay in the HK Models Meteor
what a lovely kit not overly done with parts you will never see and it fitted like a dream
Was looking for some thing different to the high speed silver finish , found the answer on a Dutch Decals sheet for the Meteor finished in RAF Dark Sea Grey , Dark Green and PRU Blue with Trainer Yellow stipes for their Fighter School machines . Decals are now printed by Fantasy Print Shop and are a joy to use
All colours are Xtraclor enamels with Hataka Orange Line Satin Varnish
Really did enjoy this kit a real pleasure to make , looking forward now to the Revell Meteor F8 which I hope they dont go overboard on like their DC-4
On the subject of the F8 Revell were at the Farnborough Modelfest last month and on speaking to them about it it , they said realistically it would be about a year before release , some thing to look forward to
