Latest off the 'bench'

17 Italeri 1/48 Gripen - went together really well, not so keen on the paint, the Enamel paint I got for it was completely wrong, so switched to an Acrylic that looked more accurate. Had planned to do the Czech scheme, but the decals were identical to the paint colour so were invisible.

Another Hunter, really love these kits....
18 Airfix 1/48 F6 in the Blue Diamonds Scheme.

19 And I have finally got my Nimrod R1 finished, after paint issues, decal issues, and just getting fed up with it....

Looks rather good though in the end!

Hi Mike

Dont have a lot of luck with paint do you :( Being a very early Gripen full colour roundels suit it , and well done for persevering with the Nimrod  I know that " fed up" feeling only too well

Totally concur. All look very good. Gripen suits the Swedish version.
As for that Nimrod

Loved the Nimrods, was gutted when 'they' had them cut up. :grr:

What scale and kit is the Nimrod ?

Cheers guys.

The Nimrod is the Airfix 1/72 kit from 2008, with RAM Models decals for the retirement scheme.

2nd Nimrod I've built, they're a really nice kit, can be a bit pricey now, I got this one at a good price via eBay as the chap was local and it was a collection only listing.
